A year and a bit ago, Whittaker’s got in touch with an unusual – but very welcome – request: they were a few months into developing flavours for their new artisan range, and would I like to come and give them a hand? Yes, I said, and so I went to Wellington and sat in a room for a few hours and suggested weird chocolate flavours and some producers they might call on and then I left and they carried on slogging away. This is the result – it has nothing to do with me but it was a lot of fun and I hope they call me again some day.
