I spent Easter driving from one end of Victoria to the other – I flew into Melbourne and headed 600km northwest to Lake Mungo, one of the oldest sites of human habitation in the world, all in aid of a campaign by Tourism Victoria. Along the way I ate a lot of steak grilled over “red gum” and drank shiraz and generally marvelled at how large and flat Straya is. I then came home and wrote the journey up in five parts, along with a bunch of highlights on where to eat, stay and what to do. You can see the results here.Vic
