I’ve been running supper clubs through Eat Here Now since 2011, when they started in the living room of my old house in Grey Lynn and Natalie Smith and I did all the cooking. Now, three or four times a year, we run a dinner somewhere – most recently at Masu by Nic Watt, which matched inventive Japanese food with rare and unusual sake. (I don’t do the cooking anymore, which is nice.)
